Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008--(fostering connections.org)

Child Trends is hosting this website that tracks state progress as well as provides a source of information on the 2008 child welfare law.  The Fostering Connections to Success Act created a number of state options and enacted several reforms to help children in out of home care.  The law gave state the option to expand kinship care and extend the age of foster care, and it provided tribal governments with the option to run their own child welfare programs, expanded eligibility  for adoption assistance, expanded training funds and strengthen education rights to children in foster care.  These and other reforms in the law can be tracked through this site.
